The Red Wheelbarrow

For today's posting, I thought I'd share a poem that always inspires me. I could try to interpret it for you (after many years as a literature student, I definitely have ideas), but, perhaps, it's better to let it stand on its own. Let me know what you think.

  1. Beautiful poem. For me, it probably has a totally different meaning from what the poet intended. It represents "comfort" rather than the industrial age's beast of burden. When I was a baby, my sister would put a blanket in the red wheel barrow and me in it, and it became my craddle to enjoy all outdoors!
